E. Calvin Matthews IV

Mr. Matthews' practice is concentrated in general business and corporate litigation.  His litigation experience includes representing companies of all sizes, including privately held and publicly traded companies, financial and banking institutions, service corporations, and not for profit companies.  Mr. Matthews has also represented the individual board members, executives, and owners affiliated with such companies.     

Mr. Matthews has litigated in both state and federal courts in matters involving breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, negligence, fraud, property damage, and bank-related issues including personal guaranties and the application of the Equal Credit Opportunity Act and Regulation B.  He has successfully procured millions of dollars in judgments for his clients.  Mr. Matthews has also procured multiple successful settlements for his clients, allowing his clients to receive the remedy they deserve while avoiding the time and expense of litigation. 

Mr. Matthews previously held a NASD Series 7, General Securities Representative License, NASD Series 55, Equity Trader Representative License, and a NASD Series 63, Uniform Securities Agent License.  Mr. Matthews was also a member of the NCAA National Champions, NCAA West Regional Champions, and Pac-10 Champions, Arizona State University Men’s Golf Team.  Mr. Matthews is currently a Board Member of a not for profit condominium association in Clayton, Missouri.
